Project Name: At-Home Sleep Stage Monitor
Group Number: 29
Group Members: Kiron Sukesan, Matthew Hwang, Yinong Wang
Current status of project: This week we met with a sleep study technician, Dr. Brian Toedebusch to discuss problems with sleep studies as they are and the hurdles we might have to face in the design of our device. It was suggested that we expand the capabilities of our device beyond just EEG. We also met with Dr. Lucey and verified the scope of our project. In addition, we met with Dr. Moran and decided that development of the mobile device application to receive the EEG data is not a primary concern, and that we should focus our efforts on developing the actual device. We have also worked on the preliminary report and presentation for Wednesday.
Work planned for next week: Following presenting our reports this week we will begin formulating solutions to our problem.
